Belt Conveyors
The carrying medium of a belt conveyor system is a conveyor belt. One of the various varieties of conveyor systems is the belt conveyor system. A belt conveyor system consists of two or more pulleys that spin around a closed loop of carrying medium, such as the conveyor belt. The belt and the material on it are moved forward by one or both of the pulleys being powered. The drive pulley is the powered pulley, and the idler pulley is the unpowered pulley.
